Andrej Pejic
Andrej Pejic first appeared as the new face of Marc Jacobs spring campaign, his long blonde hair and feminine features made him quite a hot topic and attracted many designers specially Jean Paul Gaultier and he booked him for his Mean’s show 2011 and his spring campaign. He was also recently featured in a spread of Vogue Magazine. The amazing thing about this model that was he symbolized Fashion Androgyny.
Androgyny is a long prevailing topic in the fashion industry when designers like Helmut Lang and Giorgio Armani promoted it. I think that it is a very unique topic and the rise of the third sex should be respected. Androgynous women are actually becoming more widespread than the regular women since the fashion industry loves to experiment. Models like Freja Beha Erichsen and Jenny Shimizu are also characterizing individual possession of both male and female traits.
So, when will you start throwing your father’s shirt with your skirt?
